City Council
The Mayor and City Council have the ultimate responsibility for the administration of the government of the City of Green Cove Springs, appointing supporting boards and commissions, and managing the City's resources.

City Manager
As the Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Green Cove Springs, the City Manager is responsible for the administration of all City affairs and departments and the execution of the City Council’s 2025 Vision Plan.

Development Services
This Department has three divisions that provide municipal services in the areas of Building Permits, Code Enforcement, and Planning and Zoning.

Electric
The City of Green Cove Springs began providing electric power to its citizens and the surrounding community in 1907. Now over 100 years later, our Public Power Utility continues to provide exceptional reliable service to our City and surrounding customer base in Clay County, FL.

Finance
The Finance Department is responsible for all financial activity for the City of Green Cove Springs, including the integrity of the accounting records and all aspects of the financial reporting.

Human Resources
The mission of the Human Resources Office is to attract and retain a qualified and educated workforce that meets the needs of the organization and to provide a positive work environment for all employees.

Information Systems
The information systems department is responsible for maintaining the hardware, software, data storage, and networks that comprise the city's Information Technology infrastructure.

Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for maintaining and creating programs for the City's four parks, Thomas Hogan Memorial Gym, Augusta Savage Arts and Community Center, the City pool, and City pier.

Police
The Green Cove Springs Police Department is primarily charged with the preservation of peace and order in the City of Green Cove Springs, the enforcement of all criminal and traffic ordinances and laws of the City, the State of Florida, and the United States of America.

Public Works
The mission of the Public Works Department is to provide quality, cost effective maintenance, repair and expansion of the City’s infrastructure for the public health, safety and welfare in the areas of Streets, Traffic Control Systems, Facilities Maintenance and Stormwater.

Special Events
The mission of Special Events is to provide the residents of Green Cove Springs and the greater community with access to good foods, good crafts, and live entertainment in a safe and family-friendly environment while providing an outlet for local vendors to sell their goods promoting daily tourism and stimulating the local economy at large.
