Welcome to the Development Services Department of Green Cove Springs!

This Department has three divisions that provide municipal services in the areas of Building Permits, Code Enforcement, and Planning and Zoning.

The Department promotes civic pride and quality of life while protecting the health, safety and welfare of City residents through comprehensive planning, development programs, and the enforcement of applicable building and municipal codes. The mission of the Department is to provide courteous assistance to the public with activities and functions associated with Development Services such as site and building plan review, compliance with Land Development Regulations, Community Redevelopment initiatives, Historic Preservation, Vision efforts and related services.
