2025 THEME: North Pole Christmas Party

The City and the Green Cove Springs Business League have received several questions about how the upcoming road work on US 17 may impact the Christmas Parade. We want to assure everyone that we have been in close coordination with FDOT, and the project will NOT interfere with the Parade.

The Parade will take place as scheduled on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 6 p.m., and we can’t wait to see the community come together for this festive tradition!

The Annual Green Cove Springs Christmas Parade is organized by the Green Cove Springs Business League and is now held on the evening of Christmas on Walnut Street Festival. Floats glowing with Christmas lights make their way down U.S. 17 to City Hall, where the parade kicks off the lighting of the City tree and Parade of Trees in Spring Park. Don't miss this 50-plus-year Green Cove Springs' Christmas tradition!

Parade road closures

Orange Ave. will close 5:00 p.m.

After 5:00 p.m. all southbound traffic detours onto CR 315 and only local parade traffic detours south of CR 315. Northbound traffic on US Hwy 17 detours onto SR 16 to CR 315. Within City Limits, N. Cypress Ave. and N. Pine Ave. are one way going south. All roads will reopen after parade is finished.
