Green Cove Springs Martin Luther King Jr. Day Ceremony is held on the third Monday in January in Vera Francis Hall Park. It brings the community, City, and dignitaries from Clay County, Clay County School Board, and State House and Senate together to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The ceremony features a Keynote Speaker from Green Cove Springs or Clay County, and is followed by a catered lunch.
