  | 2023-08 Walnut Street Improvement Project | The City of Green Cove Springs is improving three (3) blocks of Walnut Street from Palmetto Avenue to the St. Johns River. This work also includes construction of an adjacent parking lot. Improvements include, but are not necessarily limited to:
• Roadway resurfacing to include removal and replacement of existing bricks and asphalt overlay with a stamped finish.
• Reconstruction of concrete sidewalks with brick bands varying in width from 6 ft to 15 ft.
• Stormwater improvements.
• Landscape and irrigation improvements.
• Hardscape improvements.
• Lighting improvements.
• Construction of a pervious paver parking lot with associated sub-surface improvements.

| | 2023-09 - Tree Trimming for Electrical Distribution | The City is looking for a company to provide qualified personnel under the Contract, who are trained to remove and trim trees located near electrical lines. The crew shall consist of one two-man crew properly equipped for trimming trees from hydraulic pruning equipment. Personnel shall consist of one (1) journeyman trimmer, one (1) apprentice trimmer. Equipment shall consist of one (1) aerial lift with dump bin, one (1) Chipper (max 12” diameter limbs), one (1) small chain saw, one (1) medium chain saw.

| | 2023-12 Spring Park Dock Expansion | The City of Green Cove Springs is seeking bids for the Spring Park dock extension to construct approximately 150’ of new dock with three finger piers to the northwest for a boat shelter with two boat lifts and a small floating platform to the north. This project also calls for adding water and electric out to the end of the dock. |
| | 2023-5 Downtown Form Based Code | The City of Green Cove Springs seeks proposals from a Planning or Interdisciplinary firm with experience in Comprehensive Planning, Economic Development, Community Revitalization, and / or Landscape Architecture strategies to complete a Downtown Form Based Code. Qualified Candidates will be experienced in undertaking planning efforts in a collaborative manner that involves a diverse spectrum of stakeholders. |
| | Bid 2023-06 - West Street CDBG Drainage Improvements | The City of Green Cove Springs is replacing approximately 2,800 linear feet (LF) of drainage pipe. Drainage pipe sizes range from 18” to 54”. The drainage improvement project will consist of the installation of 25 inlets. The existing sidewalk and curb (approximately 2,800 LF) will be replaced with a 6’ wide x 4” deep sidewalk. All curbing will be 1.5’. Construction drawings with specifications are included in the bid package. |
| | CDBG – Corona Virus Grant | The project involves the renovation of the Augusta Savage Arts and Community Center to allow for the building to serve as a Corona Virus Testing and Vaccination Center. Architectural and/or engineering services for this project will include, but not be limited to, topographical surveying, testing, engineering design, permitting, bidding, construction administration and resident observation services. |
